Utilizzando lamine termoconduttrici, gli strati dielettrici diventano termoconduttori e sono ideali per dissipare il calore dai componenti che generano calore sul rame funzionale allo strato di rame o al dissipatore di calore sul lato opposto. Le pellicole termoconduttive sono disponibili in spessori compresi tra 80 e 100 \u00b5m (3,1 e 4 milli = millesimi di pollice), con una conducibilit\u00e0 termica di 2,2 W\/mK o 3,2 W\/mK. I film termoconduttivi sono utilizzati nei processi standard di laminazione multistrato.
